I love creating puzzle games. This one is more of a game-like experience than a challenge. No menus, no achievements, just you and a puzzle. Calming sounds and music were made by Wojciech Wasiak. It has 50 levels and its about hour long.

Thanks for playing and supporting me!!

Well, I'm Hooked! The game is great! The puzzles are wonderfully designed and the atmosphere perfectly tweaked to suit the gameplay. It is well worth the money! I don't get why are people so mad about the price. Is it mind bending in its difficulty? No. Does it have to be? No! It's not an exam in quantum mechanics! I enjoyed the experience and I'm happily recommending it to everyone. The only thing this game lacks is a level select. I know its a stylistic choice not to have one but it would be easier to navigate. Full Review

Loved it Truely loved this little game. Really well designed game from the simple premise, to the way it explains the games ever increasing mechanics to you without a single word of text in the entire game other than the title on level 1. Over all this is probably one of the best mobile games I've ever played. My only "complaint" about it is that I wish there were more levels. Still doesnt reduce my 5 star raring of this mobile masterpiece. Full Review

Nice little game, but all over in 2 hours I quite liked this game, but it felt a little too easy, even in the final dozen or so complex levels. It meant that the entire 50 levels were over too quickly for my liking. Also, I'd like an option to turn off the sound, because it's easier to concentrate with it off. I had to turn my overall volume to zero, which I shouldn't have to do (easy to forget to turn it up again when I've finished playing). Full Review

Beautiful Very beautiful relaxing game. If I were to pick one fault with it it is that there is no real difficulty to it. And move you can make is a step forward so it is always comes down to just looking long enough until you see the next possible move. Still it is lovely so it still gets 5 stars from me. Full Review

Beautifully built, ingenious little puzzler Looks and sounds great and built really well. Brilliantly simple concept but the puzzles get ingeniously complex towards the end. A lot of time, thought and care has gone into this game. I wouldn't say it ever gets super-difficult, but it definitely requires a lot of thought, and is very satisfying to play. Well done to the developer, hope there's lots more to come from him. Full Review

Short, Easy, but lots of fun potential!! There's only 50 levels so far, and only about 8 of them I had to think a bit on. The mechanics are fun, however the introduction of them slow. It could have been a bit more complex if introductions were earlier and then focusing on difficulty for the rest of the levels. This was really addicting and mesmerizing, throughly enjoyed it! Keeping an eye out for more levels! Full Review

Short but sweet Relatively quick to play through (50 levels) but enjoyable nonetheless. I feel the game was certainly value for money, given the low price I paid at the time. It's true that you have virtually no control over settings (as mentioned in other reviews) but I can't say that bothered me too much. The sound was nice and atmospheric and the game progressed from easy to difficult at a good pace. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in aesthetically pleasing puzzlers. Hope to see more from this developer. Full Review

Excellent Starts with a few simple concepts, and builds beautifully complex challenges. Not exactly difficult, but requires patience and careful thought. The design is elegant in its simplicity, and the music is adds to the meditative feel of the game. My only complaint is that there isn't more of it. More levels please! I would gladly pay. Great idea The game itself is great, however it is very short - I finished it in two days of not intensive playing. While some of the later levels start to get a little difficult, it only has 50 levels, and for the price I was expecting at least 75, if not 100. Hopefully there will be more to come with more difficulty in future updates. Also, while the music is very soft, I didn't find any way to turn it completely off while listening to my music. Exactly how a game should be sold. Costing only £0.09, one should expect a small game with an interesting core mechanic and a series of short but interesting puzzles, and all without any advertisements. With Hook, that is exactly what I got, and I could not be more happy with it. Running at a length of fifty levels, Hook spends a good amount of time getting the player familiar with the mechanics of the game, all without a word of explanatory dialogues, and then gently ramps up the complexity. For what I paid, I got exactly what I wanted. Full Review

Very nice Not a fan of x box type games these days but this is great. I was stumped for a few seconds but if you touch the blobs, their thingies move. Then you have to remove these thingies in the correct order. I've not had this much fun with some blobs and thingies in a long time. Well worth 9p. Lovely relaxing sound too, brilliant and different. Thank you. Full Review

Great little game... but so short. It ends when it actually gets challenging and interesting, before that it's like the longest tutorial ever made, far too easy. But if the developer adds level or tricks or both, than it will get 5 stars. The overall environment is beautifully simple and effective, subtle soundtrack, very well made. MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING!! Great blast Went through the levels in two blasts. The game gets more challenging towards the end but keeps relaxing. With very few elements I was entertained and kept playing to the end. Very elegant design and idea, feels like debugging an electric circuit, just without the actual pain :) Full Review

This is a great game! I've got to say, the only issue with this game is how short it is. It took me a few hours to complete all 50 levels, and I loved every single one of them. This game is simplistic and it really got me thinking. I love the way it introduces all of the different game mechanics - this is just an all round great game, and I'd love to maybe see more levels come out one day :) Full Review

Hook is an amazing puzzle game! I've never played any puzzle game like Hook before. It took me a while, but I eventually beat it. It was pretty challenging towards the end, but it was so much fun. I hope there will be more levels and puzzles added in the future! Keep up the great work! Full Review

Stick with it, it gets better It took me a while to get the point of this game. Early levels are too simple, in fact I almost gave up on it. But a little perseverance pays off as the levels get more and more complex. I ended up really enjoying this "at your own pace" puzzle. The only problem I now have is I've finished it. More levels please ☺ Full Review

Simple and sophisticated at the same time The game is so simple in its premise, yet so incredibly well made that it can still give you a real challenge. Once you launch the game, you are thrown straight in. No tutorials, no settings, no nonsense. You learn the mechanisms of the game as you progress through the levels. Any fan of puzzle games only needs to look at the ratings to see how great the game is. At just $1, this game is practically free. Full Review

Just Brilliant on so many levels Firstly, I must say that I find it distressing that so many games want access to your ID, contact, an WiFi info, therefore I avoid those now at all costs no matter what the game. THIS game doesn't have that rubbish, it's just pure fun! Very clever and elegant design. Full Review

Great and Simple This is a great example of what a phone game should be like. Very clean interface, easy to use.doesn't need instruction. Was a bit short but I think it's about right, as more levels would have got a bit boring. Not much scope for expansion. Full Review

Awesome game An almost perfect game. Hard enough to make you think, but not so difficult it drives you crazy. Just a nice, relaxing, even paced game. Perfect to just chill with and play. My only complaint is that there's only 50 levels. I would love another 50 to 100. Please make more levels! Full Review

Hook is an interestingly good puzzle game. It's the same premise all throughout the levels, but what makes it interesting is that there are no menus whatsoever, just the puzzles and you, making for a truly "minimal" experience, and perhaps also "relaxing" one, where you don't know when it would end (I was actually surprised when it ended). Admittedly, I wasn't that relaxed for the last few levels because there were just so many lines and connections hahaha. But overall, it is a great game. Kudos! P.S. If you want a little variety, you should also check out klocki by the same dev. That one's also fantastically done. Full Review

Good game but very short. Dev seems to have abandoned it. 50 levels out of which only the last 10 pose a real challenge. Would like more levels and a menu with a level selector to make replaying specific levels easier but app hasn't been updated since February 2015. Full Review

Fantastic! More please! I used this to help me go to sleep at night and it's been great. No other game has worked like this one. It tires you out at the same time as relaxing you with gentle music/SFX. I've just completed all 50 levels though, so I'm hoping the developer will create more. Otherwise I'll just wait for a few weeks before playing it all again! Full Review

Easy at first, but deceptively difficult by the end Subject says it all - the first 15 or so levels are way too easy, but after that, get ready for some novel, mid-level, and entertaining puzzles. I only wish there were multi-page "radio" puzzles, for the real masochists out there. ;) Full Review

It makes you think I liked this game. I'm giving it four stars as its not very intuitive when you tey and navigate between levels. To go to level 1 from say level 30 you have to press the back button that many times. Those little things is all it is. The game itself was a very good concept and definitely made you think. Exceptional game The most intriguing game that I have played in ages. Beguilingly simple construction. Zero system access requirements (note to designers: awesome). Extraordinary game play. Complexity builds rationally and effectively. No need for tutorials. Really fun to play and I only dread that the levels will run out. . . . UPDATE: just ran out of levels. Help. Please make more. Good game at a good price This is totally worth more than 9p from playing it today. I completed it in one day, playing it on and off. The difficulty curve have been ramped well. There are no distractions in the game. It's just clean and simple. I have already recommended it to a few people. Some puzzles require concentration, planning and forward thinking, but it's totally worth it. Full Review

Love it! One of the best phone games I've ever played. Not too difficult but highly addicting. Started it again as soon as I'd finished, and that's my only gripe - at 50 levels it was a bit too short. Looking forward to more levels or a sequel. Full Review

Great game...brilliant idea. This is a great logic challenge that is very different from anything I've seen before. Starts easy, but gets more and more complex and challenging as new elements are included. Really sad once I had completed Level 50...Dev, I'll pay for Hook v2, I'm hooked! Fantastic. People giving less stars seem to have overlooked what it costs!! Get real. It's clearly a proof-of-concept that works brilliantly. 5 star, no question. Full Review
