Hulu sucks now. It used to be excellent but they have removed 80% of the shows I watched weekly (how do you remove The Daily Show?!) And the new app format is GARBAGE. You guys paid someone good $$ to redo your app - you waisted $$$. I2 Used to be able to view and scroll through options easily and quickly, now you're forced to thumb through page by page, 1 at a time. Maximize the experience HULU or at least give me content I care about. Canceled my service - bum off a friend now. So not worth it. Crackle has passed you Hulu.....Crackle. Full Review

10% of the time, I can't finish a 30 minute episode without the frames freezing while the audio continues. The other 90%, Hulu just doesn't work. Constantly stuck on the "Hulu has encountered an issue" screen. I pay for the ad free version, but it doesn't matter because I have to waste time waiting for Hulu to function. Can't justify paying for this garbage anymore after the constant issues and the disgusting new UI. Full Review

What have you done to the Roku app? One show at a time on a 60" 4K TV is ridiculous! I hate it and will not be able to use it until it is fixed. Put it back the way it was! The grid display is necessary! Full Review

I loved Hulu before the UI changes. It's impossible to navigate now. I cancelled my service as of today and got a refund for this month. You should do the same and maybe stupid Hulu will reverse the change. Not sure if I'll come back. But if I don't the interface would need to be the previous version. Full Review

The new interface is absolutely garbage! It is difficult to navigate and didn't save any of my watch list from the previous version! Does not remember the last episode I watched so it never starts playing the new episode it replays episode I just watched. I gave it two stars instead of one because I like that I can keep update on my shows. The new interface makes me contemplate getting rid of Hulu and using Amazon or another streaming service. I loved hulu before this update. I use a roku and hulu is aweful now. Can't tell when there is a new episode. Why did you have to change a good thing?! If my husband doesn't like it we will be cancelling and just use Netflix. Full Review

What have you done to Hulu? The last few days I haven't Bennett able to watched Hulu on roku,the app won't open any video due to connection problem. Too many ads, ads won't play at a low quality to remove buffering, plays adds at beginning of some episodes so you cannot just watch a quick preview to see if you saw the episode, you pay and still have ads. Plus the ads are terrible and repetitive. New update on Roku is terrible. The UI is a pain. The selection is getting small while competition gets better. Live TV is to pricey for an app to compete with connection that does not require internet. You can only have ONE user on a time! Are you kidding? Netflix has four! But if there is a show you like to watch and it happens to be on Hulu it's great. Kinda. Full Review

The new download and setup is horrible. It doesn't continue playing. I paid 7.99 for that and to watch all the awesome shows. I was even thinking about paying more for no commericals but now I definitely will NOT. What you guys did sucks change it back or fix it again please. If you do change it you will be rated a 5 star but until then you are a 1 for me. I will be leaving hulu if you do not and you will loose my business forever. Full Review

Upgraded to the LIVE option. Love it when it actually works. No matter what network or show I try to watch, Hulu freezes, tells me it has stopped working or gives me an error code and tells me to find something else to watch. Used to be so much better. The latest update is terrible. Even on the tv version the navigation SUCKS. And why is location services required every time I open the app? I'm uninstalling. And seriously considering switching back to sling for live streaming, hulu buffers way too much, and I didn't have that happen nearly as much with sling. Full Review

I love the new Hulu "look" and the new features. The only problem I found is when I'm watching on my phone or tablet. While it's streaming, If I touch the screen to view screen options or I wipe something off the device, the app will read it as scrolling and will jump back or forward in the movie or episode, and will continue playing but starting from wherever my finger touched. It seems to happen no matter which part of the screen I touch. It disrupts my viewing when I have to keep finding where I left off because it accidentally rewinds and forwards. Full Review

Omg! Hulu literally devolved by 10 years! Im frustrated i even had to give this 1 star. People used to be able to scroll between 20 shows or movies at once. Now you only get to view 1 option at a time? Why did you make this so user unfriendly? What new Hulu manager convinced his staff this was the way to go? Why did the staff not fight for what they knew was right? I hope developers read this and can use it to facilitate change. Fix this before next billing date or Im giving my money to Netflix. This new user interface sucks man! What's with the blue, green and red backgrounds when you're scrolling!? It's so annoying! Also all the tiles dim way too much besides the one you're highlighting and it makes it hard to see. Also, why are the titles so big!? 6 a screen? Come on! It takes me like 20 minutes to finally browse to a selection? Hulu complicated things way too much, and it makes things more tedious now. I wanted to try the live tv with no commercial plan so I can use the unlimited screens for my family but it turns out that you would also have to purchase both the limited commercial plan and the no commercial plan with live tv. You can't choose just one. You can't use the unlimited screens for watching regular shows just on hulu either, that only applies to live tv and the networks for live tv can still play commercials with shows already on hulu with no way of knowing if the show is from live tv or if it was already on hulu. Anyone who complains about too many ads just want free stuff. The reason for these many ads is to make some small amount of money from it at least. Plus, these episodes are the latest ones that came on cable dew hours ago. On top of that, you can watch it for FREE vs Netflix where you have to pay to watch. Be lucky you even get to watch something that's on Hulu for free with ads then finding a shot copy/paste on some website that gives you virus. Full Review

I have this app on my roku tv and nothing loads, I checked my connection and Netflix and YouTube works. Hulu can't load anything and the new interface is confusing, I miss the old version where everything is listed than having to search for everything. Full Review

Hulu used to be my favorite thing. We don't have cable and were happy with "just having" Hulu. The new update has completely changed that. The new update has made it seem like being cutesy > easy accessible and user friendly interface. It's hard to find anything. Half of what I was watching, I have to find again to put it in "my stuff." Before it was so simple, I could let my grandmother use it, and I did. I'd just tell her how when a new episode of one of her shows came out. Now it's so hard for me to work my way through, there's no way I could explain well enough for her to use it. Seriously considering canceling my subscription. I even pay to not have ads. Highly disappointed with the new update. Please change it back and stop trying to be all cute and unique like Starbucks did with that stupid unicorn frappucino. At least they had the decency to make their horrible thing last for a limited, short amount of time. Full Review
