Waited patiently for this game because the Kingdom Rush games were excellent and I still play them today. But.... Despite stellar graphics and great new units I find the controls and overall gameplay lacking. Really wanted to love this game but I am not a fan of the new style of tower defense gameplay... Its more tower offensive which could be great but you only control a small group of units at a time and you only see a small portion of the gameplay. This game has so much potential but I just can't come to grips with the execution. At least there is a new Kingdom Rush game coming! Full Review

Honestly, I think the game is a little short as is. After the next world, I will update my score. Also, there is little use to build anything but either engineers and empeeryans when you get the chance to, the earlier units basically become obsolete. Full Review

Would of given 5 stars but it costs a little too much and is way too short even with world 3 and there's nothing after that??? Overall a very good and challenging game, gameplay and graphics ect all deserve 5/5. If world 3 isn't free though I will be dropping to one star. Full Review

I originally rated this five stars because I love the game and I love Ironhide, but it asked me to rate it again and if Ironhide cares so little about their customers that they will continuously ask them to rate after the product has been rated they will not be getting pleasant feedback about that. If I can finish the game without being asked to rate it again I will go back to five stars but if your app continues to bug me for more ratings I will keep lowering the stars. There surely must be a simple mechanism to check ratings but if there isn't asking once should be enough. Full Review

Hard to control units- there should be a "Select all" button. Gameplay is fun but a little grindy. Not very much explanation of various units' strengths and weaknesses. Additional heroes cost $3 to $9, too much for my liking. No bundle and there are obvious plans to release more. Game is missing some of the features that made Kingdom Rush so enjoyable, like a bestiary / units screen and stats so you can see your units improve as you upgrade them. Overall a 3/5, I'm slightly disappointed. Full Review

I love rts. I was hoping for more, but what to expect with a mobile game. I think there should be an easier way to grab groups of units. All though we like our rts with food supply to support 300 troops, the handicap is what makes it one of the most challenging rts. I gave it a low rating for two reasons. Like all ironhide games, even after you buy the game, there is more to buy. The game is worth the price. It could have cost more, but the in game purchases do not justify their price. I could see paying 10$ with no extra in game purchases. Full Review

I think Ironhide got a little trigger happy with micro transactions this time around. I understand paying for additional characters...but some missions cannot be completed without spending some of the currency on munitions, which is by definition "pay to win." Nonetheless, a terrific game, and they give you the option to watch ads to earn credits...but I've watched more ads than actually played so far so it's definitely got some balancing issues. I don't play it as much as, say Kingdom Rush, for this reason. Full Review

The controls are terribly hard. Often units are idling and getting smashed cos either i can't select them, or they dont respond when their health is getting reduced. Specially true of melee units, ie guardians. Meant to micromanage 4 unit groups with your fat thumb lol. Otherwise great game. Full Review

It's good, but it's no Kingom Rush. Managing multiple units is clumsy and the game is incredibly short. I could play kingdom rush for days before beating it, but this is too short and not replayable. It's low replayability also makes the additional heroes pretty much worthless, since they're not needed and your first hero is pretty much the best. I expected a bit more, now I just want Ironhide to go back to making Kingdom Rush. Full Review

The complaints about it being pay to win are unfounded, although I was put off a bit when I didn't have the game. The game is quite interesting and fun, but it needs expanding with possibly more units, e.g. flying ones, and more playable races instead of just 1. The problem is for £5 I finished it in less than 2 days - I would say less than 6 hours of playing for the price so it needs expanding. It also needs more planets to conquer as 2 is nothing - you can do the first in less than 2 hours and the second maybe even less Full Review

Regret ever buying this game. Greed is pretty apparent. Going the same direction as pvz when popcan developed pvz2. $5 upfront, zero starting currency, watch an ad and options to buy coins. It's like a f2p model that costs $5 to start. Troop movement clumsy, lots of mis-taps. Training level progression lackluster and not intuitive. First impression 3/4 baked on player experience, too many elements clearly put in game to make you part with more cash. Will continue to plow forward, only to get back what I've put into it. Frustrated by IAP. I've lost faith in Ironhide studios, the game itself is fine, but adding half-baked IAPs into the game feels like a blatant money grab. I'm a huge fan of kingdom rush games and happily spent money purchasing heroes, but they've made this PAID game the same as 90% of the Android games out there - with half-baked money grabbing schemes. I don't recommend purchasing any additional games from this studio, if this is the route they are going to take in the future. Congrats, you've lost a fan 🙁 Full Review

Sick as hell. Definitely one of the best games of 2017 Not only in the RTS genre but other genres as well. $7 is a small price to pay for a game of this quality. How much did y'all pay for the binding of Issac? $20? $30? There's no need to fret over a measly $7 geez AND You cAn control all units in an area, just double tap over a large group of units and you can move them all at once Full Review

Love it! Please make one change. If you are walking and they get shot at, have them stop and start shooting back. Also if you are walking, and someone attacks you, and you click on the person attacking you, they sometimes keep walking until they stop to attack. Or give me a toggle button to enable auto shoot back while walking. Love the game though. Worth the money. Full Review

Premium game that has ads, ingame currency IAP and starter bundles. C'mon. I know the ads and such are optional but the having those on an expensive premium game is just weird. As if the developers don't trust enough their product to make it fully F2P. Speaking of which, game looks and sounds brilliant. It can also get quite difficult: there are some difficulty spikes and hard to read objectives at times that can ruin your game on first round. It can be quite frustrating. But the level of detail is just something else. Thanks to all those intricate small details, replaying levels again don't feel as bad. You'll always discover something new. Loving it. The game is somewhat difficult to control on a phone, especially the double tap to select all units sometimes does not work as expected. I'd give the game higher score but the monetization scheme is simply too off-putting for me. I'd would have preferred a either premium and no ads, or fully f2p with trial paywall. Full Review

I really like this game but after a few days it started crashing and I am unable to play... Plus overpriced (p2w?) heroes in a quite expensive (at least here in Czech Republic) mobile game is really silly since without additional money you only get to play 3 out of 9 or so. I couldn't even finish the current content because of constant crashes but 2 planets probably make for a really short campaign. Add more content/game modes, fix random crashes and do something about the in-game heroes selection to look a bit less cash-grabby. Giving 4 stars just because the gameplay itself is addictive. This game is everything you could want from a mobile app. Its a cross between base defense and attack. Downsides -singleplayer only. -pretty short campaign (Its currently a work in progress). -Annoying voice acting (They sjould really just get the units to shut-up for at least a few secs after I reposition them. NOT every goddam time!) IDK maybe its just me. Upsides -superp graphics -great gameplay -great audio (not stupid repetitive voices from units) -funny easter eggs -similar to kingdom rush series (same devs, go figure) At the moment 9/10 but when they update the campaign to a decently or hopefully a long one with quite a bit of diversity like they've done so far... It'll be a masterpiece 10/10 Full Review
