Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature!

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.

Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!

Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.

Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own!

It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Please read ways to make better! 1. Make legendary eggs 50k 2. Unlock region pokemon - dumb idea nobody is traveling countries for a game. 3. Premium raid passes last all day not just one time = rip off! 4. Always give rare candy on raids 5. Make eggs calculate in what you already have for a higher chance of getting something different. 5 easy ideas to improve the game... you're welcome. Full Review

Well it is a good game and all but there's no multiplayer no leader boards nothing like that. Also we were promised trading really early in the game and after a year we are still yet to have it! So I am at abit of a stand off where I can not decide if I like this game or not. It would definitely be a yes if there was trading but unfortunately there isn't so if they put trading in a would be a five star but for now a 4 star also when I do play it and there's a legendary raid because where I live almost no one plays it so could you make it so the amount of players there are affect the difficulty of the raid so like the cp and health of the Pokemon in the raid thank you that will be all Full Review

I have played this game once or twice before on my aunts phone but it didnt work all that great- still was entertaining. BUT I tried downloading it on my phone today and barely got past choosing my charizard. When it came to choosing a nickname I entered at least six different usernames and it kept telling me to try again over and over. Therefore I am kinda forced to uninstall. Full Review

It's ok. The GPS location sucks. I'll be sitting inside a pokestop and it will have me running all over the screen, and while that helps put miles on my eggs and my buddy, it doesn't help when I'm trying to catch Pokemon. It also freezes when I try to catch some. I've lost high CP or rare Pokemon that aren't in the area because of it. There's also still no variation of Pokemon that appear in your area. Full Review

I grew up playing pokemon since I was a kid and I think this is fairly good. Graphics wise, it's great. For gameplay, I dunno why a lot of players ask too much. No this and no that. I mean for me, niantic and nintendo is doing their best to improve it. Its a like a slow but steady. Unlike games that booms fast also whitles fast. Sorry for the long comment. Again, thanks nintendo and niantic. Will be waiting for the trade system and battle system. :) Full Review

Hello all. I would like to thank you for creating this game. It is very fun. I especially enjoy playing it with my nephew. I would like a better chance to get legendaries, it's really hard when I come accord one with no help of capturing it in the raid. Also I do not have the luxury of being able to travel for certain pokemon. Please find a way to make it more exciting with more chances to catch them all. Thank you. Full Review

The game is amazing and addicting. I actually like that there's legendary Pokemons as well now (I have caught 8 of them). But still the game has its flaws. Sometimes during the raids the game crashes and I have to open it again. Sometimes it doesn't even want to open the app. Please fix this. I have seen that people have lost their raid passes because of this. GPS location is buggy as well. My avatar runs to a different location where I'm instead. Add something new for it as well because it clearly needs new ideas like trading and challenging other players for a duel. Maybe some stories would be great and I kinda wish Team Rocket to appear too. Full Review

Great game, lots of fun and only slightly addicting, lol. Though they could make it better, by making it like the traditional games. Where you get to battle other trainers to get your Pokémon xp and level them up. The whole having to catch the same pokemon over and over to get candies to level them up, seems counter productive to me. Though over all one of the best games I've ever played on my phone. Would be alot better if you could battle wild pokemon to gain xp and level yours up as well, like the old games! Full Review

I like cathing them all, figuring out the best movesets and counters for raids and meeting new people through this game. However, I can't believe how poorly Niantic handles communication and testing of their game. Almost every update introduces new bugs that seem to stem from not using unit tests or professional testers in their team at all. They made an impossible amount of money so they should really hire people for PR and code quality in my opinion. Full Review

Really addictive fun game to play with friends. I've been playing for so long and it's still refreshing to see a new or high leveled pokemon! Graphics are good and the game never runs out of things to do! The only issue is where you live. City folk get resources 15x faster than me in the suburbs and pokemon or easier to get to. Gyms are fun and so are raids. I'm glad this kind of game exists Full Review

This saved my marriage! I swear if I hadn't shown this to my wife, she would've left me in an instant. But thanks to this lovely app, our love has been restored. In fact, it even increased our lovemaking in bed. My wife had already written the divorce papers and had her boyfriend she was cheating on me in her getaway red Subaru waiting to fly to her honeymoon. But thanks to you guys, all that stopped! Now me and my wife can have a good marriage by walking around the road, holding up our phones, trying not to get hit by cars. Thank you Niantic Inc. Full Review

I really like the gameplay and the encouragement of multiplayer through raids being too hard to do on your own. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I want to listen to my own music. When I open the app, it lowers the volume of my music, forcing me to turn it up to max. Any time I exit the app though, my ears are ripped apart because the volume increases to normal with that fix, five stars easily. Full Review

The game is improving in a positive way, however it is becoming very much more apparent that the creators care more about making money off the app then anything. Rarely receive coins for having gym defenders even tho i haven't reached the max for that day and i can't even report it as an issue. Typical. You're that most downloaded app out there, give back to the players already. Full Review

Okay, it's been a while since I posted my review, and while some of my opinions have changed, many have not. The gameplay is addictive, but the game is still hard on the battery. Gps tracking is better, but Many of the areas that I am in are pretty much "dead zones" to the game. Including where I work. The go plus isn't much of a help, as it's not an actual pedometer, so people who can't, for one reason or another, go outside And explore, cannot play this game without cheating. Make the next go plus a pedometer, or even make connectivity to fitbit possible for a 5 star review. Full Review

Great game overall, but most of the pokestops I visit just say "Try again", no matter how many times I try to activate them. Also, sometimes Pokémon that the nearby tab says are at a pokestop, aren't at the pokestop or anywhere near it, which I find really annoying. The most important issue to me is the fact that if your not in a town, there are absolutely no Pokémon to be seen which goes against everything that is Pokémon, because in Pokémon, the Pokémon were always found in the wild, where wild creatures live. If Pokémon were everywhere and not just in towns and cities, this would definitely be my favorite app on the app store. Full Review

Honestly, this game just about died around April. I had almost given up until i heard rumors of legendary Pokemon. I am glad i stayed because the new gym system is better for taking, the remote berry feeding is cool too. It is more engaging for my lower level gf to play with me now as we can take things together a lot easier now. My only complaint is that the coin limit ve put back to 100 a day. Other than that, the raid system is great! Full Review

How is that hard to capture legendaries? Giving the fact that most of us live in small towns, its hard already to gather 10-15 people, after that defeating it and capturing its even harder... If it was easier and if you needed less people I might be using 3-5 premium passes per day and maybe buying pokecoins, everyone would. Think smart. Full Review

Pokemon Go is a good game with a few technical problems. Catching Pokemon "in real life" is exciting especially when you find a rare one. Battling gyms is fun but perhaps a bit too simple. Unfortunately the game is very prone to crashes and bugs and drains your battery very quickly. Overall if you like Pokemon this game can become more of a hobby than simply a game with all the getting out and about you'll be doing. Hopefully they keep improving the game over the next several years. Full Review

I love the variety between spaces, and it's an accurate map. Overall weird but new way to experience pokemon. I hope this gets greater from here! Edit 8/13/17: After playing for a year I can still say that I enjoy this game just as much. It has had its ups and downs as far as updates go. But the seasonal events were fun, this new gym rework was definitely a step in the right direction, and raid battles are super fun and have brought the community for this game closer than before. I looked forward to trading and PvP among other features to be added along the way! Full Review

The game is pretty good, but it is lacking in a few ways that i feel is crucial for pokemon games. The combat system is very poorly designed, I think they should have used the old turn-based system. It is to the point where i just dont care for battling at all. I also think events for a game like this is very important to keep players intrested. The new buddy pokemon feature is a nice improvement. Full Review

Well we're almost a year into the full release of the game so now I can offer a strong opinion on what I think of it. I've never until now seen a game involving Pokemon that did not include some form of trainer battles and PVP, I'm not talking about a sorry excuse for a gym. I'm talking about random Pokemon battles in the street, there is no Trading, there are no poke centers that I can see, there is so much missing from the game at feels like an empty shell of what they actually intended it to be. You can make this game wonderful. Pokemon is a topic on which a game can be awesome. Add some storylines to it. Make battles interesting. Make this game a social point to. This way this game is a way getting bored off. Catching pokemon can become interesting if u add feature of first fighting with it make it stun then catch it. Also in fight there should be chance wise fight like first mine turn to attack and then choose defense and then its opponent turn. Also not all famous places are pokestop only few are. If u want to make GAME FAMOUS AGAIN u have to make tremendous changes. Thank you Full Review
