I like that it has a variety of different songs but its just that it doesn't have covers such as "Wild Thots" cover by a boogie and many more. Also, it let's u make a playlist which I found was fun, however, it doesn't let u play whatever song u want at whatever time u want it unless u pay. Other things that u have to pay for are downloading songs and skipping songs. But I do like the fact that u can play music while in another app or turning off ur device. It could be better😬 Full Review

Brilliant app! If you're into music, at least the music from Western world, you need to have this. I've the premium version and it's fab because there are no ads. The recommendation engine is nice. The playlists are spot on. BIGGEST OF ALL, DOES NOT CONSUME A LOT OF BATTERY! (sorry for the caps but it really is optimized for less battery consumption!) The download quality of songs is amazing as well. Full Review

Seriously this free version is so useless. There is no reason to use that app without the premium whatever you call them, so just make the people pay once. Young people like me do not have the money to pay these 9,99 per month. I would be perfectly fine with paying even up to 50 to buy this app to be able to use it with all its functionalities. You would actually get way more downloads if you would change that. Full Review

I tried. Two songs and six 30 second ads. Said I was about to get 30 minutes. Song came on...I hit skip to next song and got another 2 full ads, by that time my mood changed and I changed the station. That set the above chain in motion again. Deleted before the next forced, no way to remove commercial. Used to be my fave web music go to. Full Review

Spotify is probably the best music streaming app I have ever tried, with a great UI and reliable with sound quality music to play with. However, the fact that you are limited to shuffling music only puts me off the mood. I'm not ready yet to get a premium membership subscription but at least let us choose what music we want to play with everything, like when you used to do before. Full Review

I pay $10 a month for a "premium version" that's supposed to let me download songs. Ever since the new update I download my songs and they delete with in minutes of being downloaded. Getting ridiculous spent hours searching the forums for help and nothing worked! Using a Samsung tab 7 a trying to download to my SD card. Would give 5 stars if not for this, will be asking for my money back this month Full Review

Better queuing controls are desparately needed. You can click a song from an album or a playlist, and boom your progress in the previous queue you were listening to is gone. If you go back, any songs from the previous list or album you were listening to that you already heard, will be played again. It's the biggest falling short of Spotify. The UI needs to be optimized a little more as well, but it's pretty good as is. Full Review

This app is a much better music app than any other I've tried. I get to listen to exactly the songs I want to by creating playlists, not to mention the app creates playlists for you based on the music you already listen to. You can listen to millions of podcasts, as well. And it is definitely worth it to buy the premium version of this app! No commercials and the ability to download your favorite songs directly to your device! Full Review

Latest version, i have to ask it to do everything TWICE before it does it, for example i add a song to playlist.. it doesn't go on the playlist until i go and search for the song AGAIN and choosr 'add to playlist ' AGAIN. UGH just make something properly. And no I DONT WANT RECOMMENDED SONGS playing without me asking, let me turn the chuffing thing OFF! Full Review

It's got a great library of music. Easy to download songs. Only gripe is a minor one with the option button next to each song. It's hard to press. Sometimes I end up restarting a song or move the track pad too much, while trying to press the three vertical dots. UPDATE: Haven't noticed but they fixed the issue I had with the option button. Way easier to press now. 5 Stars! Full Review

Good app but I'm going back to the free version. Would like to see Spotify add a lightshow option that reacts to music while I'm listening because I have to run another app, like Kaleidoscope, to keep my tablet display from going black and locking. I'm sure advertisers would like this too so users are more likely to view ads and promotions in the free version. I like how easy it is to keep up with new releases. I found the offline version can have glitches, doesn't always play, and can have poor sound quality, even when using the auxiliary line output and not Bluetooth. Full Review

The best free music streaming service on the market with the most choices for listening to your music, how or where you want to listen to it. I just don't like that I have to pay for a subscription to control all my devices. That's not really fair to put basic functions in the Premium portion of the software. I have a feeling it will just drive away customers who feel alienated and move on searching for alternatives. However, with the newer Bluetooth hardware/software -- I understand it'll be standard in the phone to be able to stream to two speakers and control things easier. I'd just like to control my iPad from my Android witout paying. Full Review

Great app and song recommendations based off of what you listen to, it makes it much easier to discover new music you may not have found on your own. That's even if your tastes are all over the place. I wish there were an option omit the music videos in the playlists. Would also like lock screen controls that I had with my Note 5 that aren't available with my S8. Full Review

It's OK. It used to be amazing. You used to have access to most of the things you can when you have premium. There was unlimited skips and they had more songs available. Something happened on one of the updates and it messed with some of the songs like: Superhero by Jesper Jenset and a couple of songs sung by Robin Williams, as well as, Holding Out for a Hero by Jennifer Saunders, so these are no longer available to listen to. But they can still be seen in your playlist. On a more positive side, it's extremely user-friendly. It is definetly a really good app to listen to study playlists, just make sure you have only songs you don't mind listening to in any mood. Or create "mood" playlists. I do wish that it was cheaper for premium but there is still pretty good offers from them. Full Review

I do love the interface of Spotify. But sorry to say this, I've been compared it to "Google Play Music" and I reaize Spotify's sound is so low. Even I turn up my volume to the max. Google play music sound is more powerful, it's better than Spotify. But I do love Spotify's UI, your interface is more better than Google Play Music. But we were talking about music player, so the biggest point is for audio. Please fix this thank you. Full Review

It's great other than the song suggestions when playing a playlist that has even only one Christian song out of a 300 song playlist. All the suggestions are Christian music. It's frustrating because it's one song out of 300 why does it effect the suggestions so much?? Just because I have one Christian song doesn't mean I want all Christian music. It's hurting my pagan ways lol oh and put the play next option back on so I can make temporary playlists. thanks your app rocks other than that :) Full Review

Easily the best music app. way better than I heart and Pandora. The ads by Spotify opening for other ads are kind of redundant but it's not anything that effects using the app, just something I find humorous. Spotify premium is probably one of the best things you can buy for $10 a month if you listen to a lot of music. It's the only platform I know of that gives you complete control of what you listen to. Spotify, I am sick of your app, that constantly and randomly erases all of my music and my settings from my phone, when I carefully spent time over my time of use to sort out what music I wanted to follow, and what of that music I actually wanted to save on my phone (this artist, but just this album and that particular song, you know what I mean - my phone memory is not expandable). And now it's all gone. AGAIN. So I'm gonna have to go through my whole library and do the selection from scratch. And in the meantime, here I am sitting on the train with no music to listen as it has been wiped from my phone. This bug has been existing for ages (it happened at least half a dozen times over the last few years), she I keeps happening. Remind again why I am paying 10€ a month? Oh that's write, to be able to listen to my music offline. I've looked this over before because I was satisfied otherwise by the overall experience. Not anymore. I don't need to remind you that you have intense competition. Please fix this. Full Review

I haven't been able to properly make use of my premium for months. It's been broken for a while now and despite many updates it's still not working as it should. Good app. Free version is reasonable. My only issue is that when using the Shuffle Play feature, sometimes Spotify won't even play half of the music in the selection; for example, if I go to an album and Shuffle Play, after *possibly* playing some of my saved songs, first unsaved songs from the same album show up, then other unsaved songs from the artist's other albums. Eventually there are just random musicians playing. And it never goes back to my music, even after restarting the app, or phone. All of this before I get to hear the rest of the music I've saved? No thanks. Full Review

This used to be my favorite music app (in which I pay for premium), but not any longer. It no longer supports saving offline music to SD card... Constantly says I'm in offline mode even though I'm connected to WiFi and offline mode is off... Takes FOREVER to load browse mode or online content (if at all). When the app allows the functions to work that were originally created (ie offline play lists, searching for music, etc) it's GREAT! When they don't work this app is beyond a waste of money. If it consistently worked this would be the best music app available. If you're an amazon prime subscriber... I recommend using their music app instead. Full Review
